 VILLENEUVE D\'ASCQ
Villeneuve d\'AscqVilleneuve d'Ascq is a new town established in 1970, in which companies and laboratories have chosen to make their home. Nearby, rural activity continues. Many farms have been transformed into brasseries or museums, while two mills stand proudly on the skyline next to the grand stadium, host to the famous International Athletics Meeting.
Villeneuve d'Ascq is one of Lille's inhabitants' favourite spots for walking and sporting activities due to its Parc du Héron: 110 hectares of parkland surrounding a series of lakes. It is the largest park area in Greater Lille.
